Evangelism & Home Missions

Richard Green
Evangelism and Home Missions Director
Mission Statement:
“To develop and implement programs and ministries
in soul winning, church planting and church growth that will assist
the local church to reach and reap the harvest of the 21st century.”
From the Director:
Alaska and British Columbia covers a vast expanse
geographically and presents some of the most challenging ministry
opportunities in the world—from frozen tundra to lush rainforests,
from modern urban to extreme rural, from harsh environments to moderate,
from ethnic diverse cities and towns to small Alaska Native villages.
Modern day Church of God pioneers of the gospel have taken on the
ministry challenge in Alaska/BC over the past 60 years, planting
churches, building facilities, reaching into almost impossible areas
with the good news of Jesus Christ and developing caring ministry
centers.
The spiritual harvest field is ripe. Opportunities
abound to lead the lost to Christ, to plant life-giving churches,
to experience the power of Pentecost and to equip workers for the
harvest. The Evangelism and Home Missions Department exists to promote,
enable and implement strategies to reach the ripe harvest of Alaska
and British Columbia.
